This book, "The Lord Has Come" is the outcome of Smt. Kalyani Sundararajan's spiritually sponsored, divine urge to share with all of us her knowledge, perception about the Avatarhood of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. She has unfolded Baba's divinity starting with "Little Sathya" and has narrated various facets of this incarnation of the "Kaliyuga Avatar", by tracing His "Amazing Grace". With the title of the book. I recollect the Bhagavad Gita cantos on the similarity of the advent of incarnations ages after ages. They are:-
YADA YADA HI DHARMASYA GLANIR BHAVATI BHARATA ABHYUTTHANĀM ADHARMASYA TADĀTMĀNAM SRJAMYAHAM "PARITRANAYA SADHŪNĀM VINASHAYA CHA DUSHKRUTĀM | DHARMA SAMSTHAPANARTHA YA SAMBHAVAMI YUGE YUGE"||
Whenever and wherever there is a decline in righteousness/virtue, O! Descendant of Bharata, and a predominant rise of vices at that time I descend myself.
The Sri Satya Sai Baba We Adore
From time immemorial, Bharat Varsha, our Punya Bhoomi, has had the good fortune of a grand perennial procession of God-men and God-women to cleanse, purify and revitalize our way of life.
Poojyapada Sri Satya Sai Baba is one such Avatara-Purusha, we are blessed to have in our midst today. Blessed indeed are we.
I have had the good fortune of Baba's Darshan from 1956 onwards. But I had the blessing of the first of the many face-to-face darshans on Vijaya Dasami day, October 1, 1968, at Prasanthi Nilayam, Puttaparthi.
Baba graciously offered Prasad Gratefully thanking him. I stretched my hands. He gently ran his forefinger on the palm of my right hand and there spread a layer of vibhuti, with a silver idol of Mahishasura Mardini on it. What a precious blessing on Vijaya Dasami Day! And Devi is our family deity, Kuladaivata. Also he materialized a ring and himself put it on my finger.
Another audience I was privileged to have with Baba was on Wednesday, December 23, 1970, at Dharmakshetra, the Bombay abode of Baba atop a hillock overlooking the Western Ghats, in the shade of the beautiful, lotus-shaped "Satya Deep".
